"Well I don't think anyone knows your a princess. So you wouldn't really be in harms way."

[Hotaru]

"That's good. It wouldn't be a good thing if it got out to the public. Besides I don't ever want any one to treat me differently. If I could I would be a normal teenage girl." she replied.

[azar]

"Well you do already don't you? What's normal? I sure don't know." Azar buried her face in a pillow.

[Hotaru]

Hotaru sighed. And fell flat on her bed. "I have no idea." she said seeing the moon light shine in her room. "My father may set me up in an arranged marriage to unite the territories and gain more power. But I really don't want to." she said in a tired and worried voice.

[azar]

"Ew strange old men, I wouldn't want to either. I wish my mom were still around. I think you would have had a great time with me." Azar smiled the moonlight shimmering in her golden eyes.

[Hotaru]

"I think our moms would get along greatly but there both in a better lace now."she replied falling asleep.

[azar]

"I hope so." Azar wispered, rolling over to stare out the window.

[Hotaru]

"It is almost time. Ican feel it already." Hotaru's father grinned widely and laughed evily. "Let her have her un out there until it is actually time for her to become a part of my plot." he said to the head guard. "In the mean time find her and keep an eye on her."

"Yes your magesty."he replied. Then he set out to find the princess.

[Hotaru]

As Kenji returned to the kingdom he bowed in front of the king. "I've looked around for her your majesty but she seems to be hiding her whereabouts." he said.

"You are resonsible for her Kenji. That is why I put you incharge. Remember, I have given you the permission to marry her so find her before the week is over." he replied annoyed.

"Yes your majesty. I have reason to believe that she has been portal jumping lately. That may help me track her." he replied before going off to find her again.

As he left the castle he smirked evily. "Soon Hotaru, you will be mine, whether you like it or not."

[Hotaru]

After Kenji's incident at the masquarade ball he quickly returned to dragon territory.

"That ghost, she'll pay for that." he thought walking into the castle and fixing himself up. Hotaru was still with Aura but she had gone for a walk.

Hotaru's father came up to him. "Have you retrieved the princess yet. If we want to invade the other territories to gain more power, then we need her portal ability. You as well as I know this." he said in a stern voice.


"I know this my lord but.....she is not so easy to lure here, especially with those strange friends she has been hanging with. It is hard for me to get a hold of her." he replied.

The king sighed. "I didn't want to come to this...but...it may be the only thing to do. Use this." he handed Kenji a ring to put on and gave Kenji another ring that was sleeker and smaller.

"What are these for?" he asked. "One you will wear and the other you must put on Hotaru. Once she wears it, then she will be bined to you and you will be able to lead her here. But if your ring goes on someone else, then she will be bound to that person. Do you understand."

"Yes your majesty. I will not fail you." he replied.
"Remeber, the rings bind yo together but if another person truly loves her, they will be able to take it off. So make sure you terminate any true relationship she has with any guy, or this will not work." the king said in a serious tone.

"Yes, I will do that." Kenji replied and put on a long dark cloak to disquise himself and went to find Hotaru.

[Hotaru]

Now that the war that raged between the dragons and angels was over Hotaru was feeling a weight lift off her. Her father and the rest of the dragons had lost their memory of what happened so now she and Azar were the only ones who wouldn't forget. Kenji wasn't a problem anymore either and now that she could portal hop freely, she would be able to visit her cousins the Heartnets whenever. Of course only if she was permitted. She wondered how hings would start to change now and hoped that her uncle was okay.
